At this point, you should have received two mailings, one describing the exciting changes taking place at VisionBank, as well as a letter explaining the account options our newly merged bank will offer. As noted in prior communications, the formal conversion from Legacy Bank to VisionBank of Iowa will be effective April 17, 2023. As we are approaching our conversion date, here is some important information that we would like to share with you:
Beginning Monday, April 17, 2023, www.banklegacy.com will be re-routed to www.visionbank.com. All bank, product, service, and community information will be housed here.
Checks: The Legacy Bank routing number will continue to work, and your current supply of checks will continue to clear. When it comes time to reorder checks, you will receive VisionBank branded checks with the updated routing number.
Debit Cards: You should have recently received your new VisionBank MasterCard Debit Card. This card will replace your Legacy Bank Visa Card, effective April 17, 2023. Please activate your new card using the 800 number provided and store it in a safe place until then. Your Legacy bank card will be deactivated on Monday, April 17, 2023. If you have auto-bill payments setup with your current card, you will need to provide each vendor with your new VisionBank card number to continue making payments.
Effective Monday, April 17, 2023, you will access your Online Banking through www.visionbank.com. When you log on for the first time, please follow the steps below:
Checking and Savings Account Customers: You will receive a statement with history through April 14, 2023, this month. This will be a mid-statement cut for most customers, but After April 14, your normal statement cycle will resume. For most customers this will result in a second statement in April with an account history from April 15 until your normal statement date.
Business Customers: You will receive two statements in April, one on April 14th and one on April 30th. All interest will be paid on April 14, 2023.
Electronic Statements: If you receive electronic statements, you will receive a paper statement in April and will begin receiving electronic statements again in May. Electronic statements prior to April 14 will no longer be available. We recommend printing your statements prior to that date for future reference. Prior statements can also be requested through your local VisionBank branch if needed.
End of day cut off times for deposits, withdrawals, and other transactions is 5:30 p.m. On Friday, April 14th. All transactions must be made before this time to be considered same day activity. Transactions made after 5:30 p.m. will be posted on Monday, April 17th. Following the conversion, regular bank hours and cutoff times will remain unchanged.
Our hope is that by providing you with this information in advance, we can work with you to ensure that you are able to effectively manage your accounts during the conversion. In the coming days, please continue to check our website and bank lobbies for additional conversion updates.
Thank you for your patience during this process. The result of this conversion will offer you improved products and services as well as multiple banking locations across Central Iowa. We are excited that you can be a part of this change and look forward to continuing our relationship.
